Diane Yu is the Co-Founder and CEO of Tidalwave, the Only Agentic AI Mortgage POS+ built to eliminate friction on both sides of the mortgage transaction. Under her leadership, Tidalwave is modernizing home lending by combining deep mortgage expertise with Agentic AI to simplify the borrower experience, reduce application anxiety, and improve application-to-decision rates—while delivering stronger ROI and operational efficiency for banks, credit unions, and IMBs.

Prior to founding Tidalwave, Diane served as CTO at Better, where she scaled engineering operations and led platform transformation during a period of rapid growth. Before that, she was Co-Founder and CTO of FreeWheel, a video advertising platform acquired by Comcast for ≈$400Mm. She remained with Comcast for seven years as CTO of Advanced Advertising, overseeing global engineering teams across the U.S., Europe, and China.

Diane is a proven technology leader with a track record of building transformative platforms and inclusive teams. She is a vocal advocate for diversity in tech and has consistently built engineering organizations with 30%+ female representation.She has been recognized by Cablefax as one of the “Most Powerful Women” and “Most Influential Minorities” in media and was named a 2021 Working Mother of the Year by She Runs It. Diane currently serves on the Board of Directors for Magnite (Nasdaq: MGNI).
