Jay Boand has served in multiple areas throughout his career in the mortgage industry, from originations in retail, to secondary marketing, to leading fulfillment teams and managing business channels. His leadership style is one that focuses on the customer, while recognizing there are both internal and external customers to serve. He is constantly looking for ways to improve processes and drive change to make the loan process easier for all parties involved. His current role at PRMG is to oversee all aspects of the Correspondent Channel as well as TPO Sales, responsible for strategic planning, business development, and operational excellence.

Jay currently resides in Orange County, CA with his wife and 2 young sons. When not chasing around or shuttling the boys, he enjoys the occasional round of golf or lazy day at the pool.

Dan Sogorka is the General Manager of Rocket Pro, where he leads the strategy, technology, and broker support initiatives that help mortgage professionals grow their businesses. Since joining in September 2024, Dan has focused on delivering real, practical value to brokers — from streamlining the loan process with AI-driven tools to championing programs that make it easier to close more loans.

Dan brings over two decades of experience at the intersection of mortgage and technology. Before Rocket Pro, he was CEO of Sagent, where he modernized servicing platforms used by top lenders. At Cloudvirga, he led efforts to simplify complex loan processes, with brokers at the center. He also spent nearly 15 years at Black Knight, helping build some of the foundational technologies that power today’s mortgage market.

A firm believer in broker choice and long-term partnership, Dan’s mission is simple: give brokers the tools, support, and transparency they need to win in any market.

Dan earned his engineering degree from Villanova University and lives in Southern California with his wife and three children.

Jay Promisco is a visionary leader who has driven remarkable growth and technological advancements at Sierra Pacific Mortgage (SPM). Jay initially joined SPM in 2017 as the Head of Retail Production, advanced to Chief Production Officer in 2019, and assumed his current role as President in 2024. Jay oversees all day-to-day operations, with a primary focus on strengthening market position and deploying innovative technology that drives efficiency.


Throughout his 25-year career in the financial industry, Jay has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to professional excellence and leads with an intense passion for the people he serves. He is a results-driven executive with a history of creating collaborative company cultures and leading large sales teams to perform at a high level. Both his leadership skills and mortgage banking acumen make him an exceptional asset to hundreds of originators across the nation.

Dawn Svedberg is an Executive Manager leading lending and fintech sales at CI&T, a global technology transformation firm for large enterprises and fast growth clients, where she specializes in modernizing, integrating and reengineering tech stacks for banks, mortgage lenders, and fintech companies. Dawn’s deep roots in the mortgage, data and technology sectors include top sales and customer relationship roles at tech and data giants Tavant and CoreLogic (now Cotality), and mortgage point of sale software pioneer CloudVirga. Dawn is also the recipient of numerous industry awards including HousingWire’s Woman of Influence (2023) and Progress in Lending’s Most Powerful Woman in Fintech (2023), The Ten Best Fintech Women Leaders Making a Difference Cover Story (2023), Five Star’s Laurie A Maggiano Legacy Award, Top 5 Finalist (2022). 

Dawn is involved in Rotary and is a co-founder of a 501c3 non-profit that promotes the health benefits of  alcohol free living. Dawn and her husband moved to Glenwood Springs, CO three years ago after a lifetime in the SF Bay Area and absolutely love mountain living. She has two grown kids and rescue dogs running amok.

Alec Hanson is a contemporary leader within the Mortgage Industry.  Constantly striving to improve, he began his career in origination in 2004 funding over $85M and was named Rookie of the Year by Scotsman’s Guide. Every subsequent year, Hanson landed on Scotsman’s Top 200 Originator list finishing his best year at $185M. From there, Hanson began coaching and growing a successful branch network in Orange County with his peak year in 2010 funding over $1B at the branch level. Hanson has received Housing Wire’s Rising Star award both in 2017 and 2019.  Previously he has served as the Senior Vice President of Production for loanDepot for the West Division, overseeing approximately $8B in annual production and as the Chief Marketing Officer for loanDepot. Currently, he serves as the Head of Revenue Development and Growth for the company.  A dynamic coach and thought leader, Hanson believes in leading and coaching within the trenches of the mortgage business.  

He is the author of loanDepot’s Modern Lending Playbook: a strategic and tactical tool designed to equip, train, and evolve the traditional mortgage professional’s skill sets into the modern era. Alec is also the author of “Bypassed: A Modern Guide for Local Mortgage Pros Left Behind by the Digital Customer,” which details a systemic approach to help Mortgage Professionals succeed in the digital world.

Alec is married to his beautiful wife of 20 years, Erica, and is the proud dad of Phoenix (14 years old) and Scarlett (11 years old).  He can be found at @alecthehanson on all social platforms.

TJ brings nearly 15 years of experience leading architecture and engineering  teams across financial services. She has a strong track record of driving change— modernizing platforms and aligning technology with business strategy. She’s  passionate about bringing product and technology together to create meaningful,  sustainable impact. 

Beyond her day-to-day work, TJ stays actively involved in tech community events  to connect with and learn from others who are shaping the future of our industry. 

Outside of work, she’s a proud mom of two daughters, lifts weights to clear her  head, and enjoys reading non-fiction.

Maria Volkova is a technology reporter at National Mortgage News. She previously worked at HousingWire where she covered housing agencies, with a focus on the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Prior to that, Maria wrote the FHA/VA newsletter at Inside Mortgage Finance. She graduated from the University of Maryland and currently resides in Rockville, MD.
