Andy Rupert leads Mortgage & Lending Partnerships at Automat, where he works with mortgage lenders to automate document processing and operational workflows using AI agents that operate directly inside the systems they already use, including Encompass, legacy applications, and third-party portals that lack APIs.

He partners with lenders across origination, secondary markets, and servicing to identify high-impact operational workflows and bring them into production. His focus is thedocument-intensive, cross-system work that has traditionally required manual effort—from loan setup and underwriting support to investor delivery, post-close quality control, and servicing operations. By automating those workflows, Automat helps lenders increase throughput, improve quality, and scale operations without adding headcount.
